====Basic procedure====
* Lengthening the reeds lowers the tone, shortening them raises it.
* Lengthen and shorten by wiggling and pulling the corresponding end with pliers.
====Sequence====
* Estimate the material parameters of the reeds.
* Loosen the clamping slightly.
* Adjust the length of a reed to the desired pitch.
* Check via tuner or app.
* Adjust the material parameters if the calculated length matches the measured pitch.
* Rough tuning by adjusting the calculated lengths.
* Fine tune using a tuner or app.
* Tighten the clamp.

Basic procedure[edit]

  • Lengthening the reeds lowers the tone, shortening them raises it.
